EagleCORS service was setup to optimize the costs of users of satellite geodetic equipment in solving their positioning related requirements in any sector including land surveying, construction, Smart transportation, Smart Agriculture and managed by our parent company, Eagle Survey Solutions with focused and experienced industry specialists
The EagleCORS service provides a continuous transmission of data streams for RTK and access to static rinex data in the territory of Uganda with a planned Continental unification of related services and partners in Kenya, Tanzania, Gabon, Cameroon, Nigeria, Ghana, Burkina Faso, Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria, South Africa, Botswana among others.
Each base station of the Service is equipped with a modern Geodetic receiver and antenna which supports work with all existing constellations including GPS / Glonass/ Beidou / Galileo satellite navigation systems, among others and all the necessary related equipment for organizing round-the-clock system operation in automatic mode.
Reliability, Stable and full functioning service is one of our core objective. We aim to provide the quality of service expected of a professionally run CORS data service-Eagle CORS Data Access Service-EDAS
The EDAS service provides our dedicated users with an RTK correction service allowing them to centimetric positioning. It allows an operator equipped with any brand of mobile GNSS receiver to determine, in less than a minute, the precise topographic position of the point he/she measures.
EDAS service is currently made up of 14 GNSS active reference stations and with a planned 50 more reference station to be built up across Uganda. This network has been strategically positioned so that each station has a useful radius of 50 km.
The EagleCORS network has been operational since early 2015. Nearly five years of existence, with state of the art equipment providing precise positioning in real time throughout Uganda.
